Finn's quilt

DSC_0001

Quilt size: 45" by 51" Crib size.

For the quilt front you will need 56 X 4" squares. I have some duplicate in this quilt but for those that participated in the swap you'll have a lot of variety already.

You will also need white fabric, You can buy Moda Ecology cloth which is a great quality white, or Kaufman Kona Snow. I used something from Joann's, but suspect it would have been cheaper and nicer to use the above mentioned options. You will need 60".

I drew up some instructions to print out about the cutting and the piecing process, I hope it makes sense      ^_^

Thanks so much! I have 4 baby quilts to make at the moment and I love the fresh, bright look of Finn's quilt so I'll definitely be making at least one of these. And you recommend the Kona Snow rather than the white? I am about to order some Kona (I have to get everything off the internet!) and would love to know more about the difference between these two. Ta!!

Beautiful quilt! and generous of you. I just finished my very first quilt and this may be my second. Thanks for the recommendations on the fabrics.

Wonderful pattern! And it's so generous of you to share. I've scheduled a link to this post to go live on my blog later today. I hope it brings you a few extra clicks.

Darling quilt! Saw it posted on Craft:, and it really caught my eye. So simple, yet soooooooooooooo stunning! I love your quilt, and a great design for charms.

I'm a huge, huge, HUGE fan of Kona Snow. A staple in my studio is a bolt of it.

Great quilt! Did you use vintage feedsack charms to make it?
