How 'bout that! I just bought some Dignitet hangers on Sunday. It's a great system because there are hinges in the wall attachments that lets the wire go around corners - perfect for our bay windows.

Lisa

Great idea! I thought about buying those for my daughters curtains and now I will have to think about buying them to hang quilts. Nancy should use those around the shop instead of the cafe rods she has up!

Lisa

Oh, and I love the quilt too. It really brightens up your room!

Michelle

That's exactly how I hang mine, not from the Dignitet, but from clips on a curtain rod. You can also sew a sleeve on the back as you're doing the binding, but I never remember until after I'm done and then I just want to be done, you know?

Lovely bedroom by the way. At first glance I thought you'd taken the photo from a magazine or something for inspiration as to how to hang quilts!

Im waiting for my DH to put up simple curtain rods and I will clip rings to my quilts to hang them up. Somehow I think after a while the wire droops. Let me know okay?

Your bedroom is "magazine lovely". I'm jealous.

Viv

Beautiful quilt!!!!! Great idea for hanging. I'll have to find something similar, we don't have Ikea here in New Zealand. My last quilt is pinned on the wall (bad idea, but I'm too lazy to make a sleeve).

The quilt looks beautiful on the wall. Your bedroom is so sweet and serene :)

I just hung my Blue Underground quilt, too ("Gems") -- though I bought a cheap (40% off) rod and clips at Joann's. I think it'll be OK if I rotate it periodically.

Love the colors you used! That pattern's on my list of ones to make! it looks wonderful!

Amy

I love your version of that quilt - my pattern awaits inspiration.

Awesome idea. I hit IKEA over the weekend and picked up the same thing. Thanks for sharing.
