Traveling with the little one...
Introducing the Hyatt baby, a difficult to please breed of traveler.
Traveling with an infant is hard, really really hard... Pass our Turkish caravan of pack-and-play, car seat, stroller and various size suitcases and you'll see what I mean. We are back at home this morning and Finn is taking marathon naps to recover from all the North Californian goodness. The house seems so convenient right now I might never leave again!

You're so brave traveling with a baby.... we haven't done that yet, but will soon when friend gets married. I can't believe how much Finn has grown - he's such a cutie!

I hear you sister! Click your heels three times and say it with me "There's no place like home".

I know that feeling. You should have seen the logistics involved in taking a baby to England...

I travel with my kids from USA to Brasil. The first time, 5 years ago, it was SO SO hard. I was alone, and they were almost out of control. The first trip was from San Jose to Texas. The person in front (a guy) gave me THE LOOK. From that time on, I decided that he was the one with a problem (the kids were just complaining, not doing anything to anyone). Now, my kids are 8 and 10. It is SO SO MUCH EASIER!!!! And it is fun!

Traveling with kids is a lot of work. We take our two little ones everywhere. Our 2 1/2 yr old is really fun in the car at the moment. She loves to point out the big trucks but hates it when she can't get out of the car. Our 6 month old totally rocks at travel. He is just such a different personality. It is just worth to make them realize trips are exciting adventures - even if for us they are now a lot more work than before.

It will get better! As soon as they can entertain themselves it gets easier. My 2½ and 6 y old kids are delightful to travel with these days. Just to tell you that there is hope. I used to sing like crazy in the car when I had infants, the only thing you can do to entetain while driving...

Oh no! Don't say that! We have SO much traveling with Brice for most of September. Lots of it in the car. Some on a plane... Glad you made it through safely.
