Very Happy Mother's Day to me!
This was my first Mother's day ever! let me tell you, it's not one bit overrated... I just enjoyed it to the last stroke of midnight. Granted I spent about a third of it slumbering on the sofa; this in itself is a treat when you consider the new family dynamics.
Finn did very well to impress me (with some major help from dad). I received a Birthday Card (!) and the camera of my dreams. I think the baby wants to ensure that his childhood is thoroughly documented!
Today I read some really sad news on my best-blogfriend webpage. Karin has decided to compose the final entry of OrangeFlower. I deeply respect her need for more free creative time, and yet I mourn the end of the blog that was the first to link ChickpeaStudio and is responsible for many of the graphic improvements this page has seen. Although I gained one of my life very best (pen)friend out of this adventure, I can't help but feel like an orphan today.

I'm sorry to hear about OrangeFlower's departure, too - I only discovered her blog not long ago and now she's leaving...

I'm so glad your first mother's day was so special!
I also read Orange Flower and am sad about Karin's departure from the blogosphere. Blogging really does take up a lot more time than I thought so I understand why she's ending her blog. But I'll miss reading her blog!
